Request for Background Information and Analysis Regarding Designation of Private Properties

Overview

County staff was directed to provide background information and staff's analysis regarding the designation of private properties with existing residential or commercial uses and/or structures as Parks and Open Space on the Long-Range Land Use Map in the Comprehensive Plan; and direct the County attorney to review the matter for any legal issues. This information and any recommendations should be provided to the Board in a memo and/or presentation at a future Board meeting, as staff determines appropriate.
