Fettler Park Small Area Plan

Overview

County staff was directed to prepare for the Board's consideration a resolution to initiate a Fettler Park Small Area Plan (SAP) to guide the strategic revitalization and redevelopment of this key area in the Potomac District and Prince William County. This plan should provide a comprehensive vision addressing land use, zoning, infrastructure, transportation, redevelopment, and economic development opportunities within the Fettler Park area. Additionally, as part of the SAP, staff should explore financial and other incentives that can be leveraged to support redevelopment and investment in the area. Staff should provide an update to the Board on the progress of this initiative, including key findings and recommendations, in a future meeting. When completed, staff should consider the findings in the Fettler Park Area Market Study initiated by the Department of Economic Development and Tourism in preparing the Small Area Plan.
