Install Lights and Security Cameras at Veterans Memorial Park - Use of Proffer Funds

Overview

The County Executive was directed to work with staff, including the proffer administrator, to review the available Woodbridge District proffers to determine if proffer funds are available and appropriate to fund the addition of lights and a security camera to the pickleball and basketball courts at Veteran’s Memorial Park to expand recreational opportunity. The County Executive is directed to bring back any appropriate recommendations for the Board’s consideration, which includes a proposed resolution to transfer, budget and appropriate the funds, if appropriate. Such recommendations should, where applicable, include timelines, fiscal impacts, and other pertinent impacts for Board consideration. The County Attorney’s Office is directed to review the information and recommendations for any legal issues. When the research and work is complete, the County Executive should report back to the Board with his analysis and recommendations during a Board meeting or by memorandum, as he determines appropriate.
