Dominion Power - Morrisville – Wishing Star 500 and 230 kV project

Overview

The County Executive was directed to to work with staff to review Dominion Energy’s application for the Morrisville – Wishing Star 500 and 230 kV project, including all proposed routes, and submit written comments, verbal testimony, and/or any appropriate evidence to the State Corporation Commission by the applicable deadlines regarding any potential impacts on County-owned property and planned County projects, including, any financial impacts on the County. The County Executive is directed to provide the Board with updates on the County staff’s actions pursuant to this directive and copies of any written comments and/or evidence that are submitted to the SCC. The County Attorney’s Office is directed to review any written comments and/or evidence prior to submission for the SCC for any legal issues.
