Review Loudoun County's Updated Trust Fund Policies

Overview

The County Executive was directed to have County staff review Loudoun County’s updated Trust Fund policies and any other applicable documents, discuss them with the appropriate Loudoun County staff, and provide an update and recommendations to the newly adopted Housing Trust Fund policies and guidelines as staff deems appropriate. Also, County staff are directed to update the draft Housing Trust policies to align with the AfDU ordinance as an administrative process for County staff to review, evaluate/score, and approve Housing Trust Fund loan applications based on Board-approved policies and guidelines as they deem appropriate. The County Attorney's office is directed to review the updated draft policies and guidelines for any legal concerns/issues. The County Executive is directed to schedule the update and any recommendations to the Housing Trust Fund policies and guidelines for Board consideration at a future Board meeting.
