Tax Rate for Surviving Spouses

Overview

The County Executive was directed to research and make recommendations concerning adopting an ordinance pursuant to Section 58.1-3228.2 of the Code of Virginia to levy a tax rate for surviving spouses of members of the armed forces killed in the line of duty lower than the rate imposed on other real property.
