Allow Farm Animals on Parcels Within Domestic Fowl Overlay District

Overview

County Staff was directed to research and return with options to initiate a Zoning Text Amendment which would allow farm animals, including, but not limited to, goats, pigs, sheep, alpacas, and llamas on parcels that are within the Domestic Fowl Overlay District that are zoned A1 Agricultural and greater than two (2) acres. This language should include a table, or formula, similar to those used for cattle or domestic fowl which defines the allowable number of animals per acre.
