Increased Effort for Beautification of State Roads

Overview

County staff was directed to research and make recommendations, in coordination with VDOT, concerning the installation, maintenance, and funding of additional landscaping project along State primary and secondary roads in the County, including the northern section of Route 1 located between the median from bridge to Annapolis Way and median from Annapolis Way to Gordon Boulevard. Such recommendations should include a proposal and costs for increasing the effort and frequency for litter pick-up on State primary and secondary roads in the County for consideration by the Board.
