What is this page?

The Board Directive Tracker gives Prince William County residents a real-time view of action items assigned by the Board of County Supervisors — what was directed, which department is responsible, and where each item stands.

Reading the status badges

• Issued - The directive has been formally issued by the Board of County Supervisors and assigned to the appropriate agency(ies).
• In Progress - Work is actively underway to address and complete the directive.
• Completed - The work associated with the directive has been completed and the directive has been closed.

Searching and filtering

• Use the search box to find directives by keyword, number, or department.
• Use the Status and District dropdowns to narrow the list.
• Click any district name on the map to filter directives for that magisterial district.

The summary cards

The cards at the top show total counts for Active, Completed, and Overdue directives. Click any card to filter the list to that status.

Subscribing to updates

Enter your email address in the Subscribe box at the bottom of the page to receive notifications when new directives are added or existing ones are updated.
